Refund & Cancellation Policy

Plain English Summary: The free 30-minute Review involves no payment, so no refund applies. For any paid engagements, we offer a fair refund process as detailed below. We want every client to feel confident engaging with us — if something goes wrong, we'll make it right.

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services offered by AllyMerci, including the free 30-minute Scaling Architecture Review and any paid consulting engagements. This policy is designed to be transparent and fair to all parties.

By booking a session or paying for a service, you agree to the terms of this policy. AllyMerci is committed to delivering value and will always act in good faith when handling any refund or cancellation request.

2. Free Review Sessions

No payment required. The 30-minute Scaling Architecture Review is entirely free of charge. There is no fee to book, attend, or receive your post-session deliverables (Scaling Friction Map and Priority Action Roadmap). As no payment is made, no refund is applicable.

However, we do ask that you treat this session with the same respect as a paid engagement. A no-show or last-minute cancellation without notice impacts our ability to serve other founders. Please see the Cancellation section below.

4. Cancellation Policy

For free Review sessions:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session: you may rebook freely at any available slot.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session: we reserve the right to decline a rescheduling request, as the slot cannot be filled in time.
  • No-shows without any notice: the booking is forfeited. Please contact us if there were genuine extenuating circumstances.

For paid engagements:

  • Cancellation before engagement commencement: full refund within 7 business days, less any Razorpay transaction fees.
  • Cancellation after engagement has commenced: a pro-rated refund for unused work will be assessed based on work completed to date.
  • Cancellation of a retainer agreement: requires written notice as specified in your engagement agreement. Notice periods typically range from 7 to 30 days.

5. Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. You may reschedule a free Review session by providing at least 24 hours' notice via the Calendly link in your confirmation email, or by emailing us at hello@allymerci.com.

AllyMerci may also need to reschedule sessions in rare circumstances. In such cases, we will provide as much advance notice as possible and offer you a convenient alternative slot.

Rescheduling does not affect your eligibility for the free Review deliverables.

6. Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund on a paid engagement, here is how the process works:

  • Email hello@allymerci.com with your name, engagement details, date of payment, and reason for refund request.
  • We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  • Refund eligibility will be assessed and communicated within 5 business days of receiving all relevant information.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method (Razorpay). Depending on your bank, funds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear.

Razorpay payment gateway charges are non-refundable by AllyMerci, as these are retained by the payment processor. Any applicable GST on services rendered may also be non-refundable depending on the stage of the engagement.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable in all circumstances:
Razorpay processing fees · Completed and delivered work · Post-session deliverables already received · Sessions that were attended in full

If you have received your Scaling Friction Map and Priority Action Roadmap, these deliverables are considered value delivered and cannot be returned or refunded, even if no paid engagement follows.
